When customers browse for a new product or service, they will typically search for businesses in the local area with recent reviews and a high rating. If a business doesn’t fall into that category, it can often get looked over in favour of competitors – this is why it is important to ensure you’re consistently generating positive reviews and managing the negative ones.

According to statistics, 73% of consumers believe that reviews older than 3 months are no longer relevant. Customers want to see up-to-date reviews.

Customer Voice Express accounts are capped at 15 emails per month, however the full Customer Voice package offers unlimited review requests.

Due to mobile service provider limits, it is only possible to send a maximum of 150 SMS review requests daily. This stops your number being flagged as spam.

There are several reasons why an SMS can be dropped. These include [bullet points]
The phone number is a landline and unable to receive text messages,
The recipient blocks messages from unknown numbers,
The phone may be turned off or unavailable,
The number may no longer exist,
The SMS may have been flagged by the mobile carrier. If this happens, we advise waiting a moment and trying again.

For Option One accounts, email requests will come from the email ‘noreply+businessname@smblogin.com’. Your business name will be automatically substituted for ‘businessname’. For Option Two accounts, you can customise your sent from email domain.

When you have activated the SMS add-on and are ready to start sending SMS requests, we’ll do a search for available numbers with the area code of your business and select one to assign to your account. In the case that there are no available numbers with the same area code, we choose the next closest location. It will be a 10 digit phone number.
